Job Summary
Waynesville Inn & Golf, Tapestry by Hilton is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Server to help deliver an outstanding guest experience in our restaurant. Serving our guests to the best of our ability in a fast-paced, high energy, customer-oriented environment is the heart of this job.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full time, hourly job with competitive wages from $9 to $12 per hour plus tips . Benefits for full time employees include health, dental and vision insurance, vacation and holiday pay, and eligibility for discounts at Hilton and participating properties.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner
- Assist in setting up table, beverages, and other amenities
- Ring in orders and serve food and/or beverages in a timely manner
- Keep dining room and service areas clean and orderly - Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques, answer guests’ questions regarding menu items, specials, and other details
- Provide professional and courteous service at all times
- Process payments, report to supervisors and close out segment of shift
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding guest service skills
- At least one year of server experience preferred
- Ability to maintain a fast-paced working environment
- Resourceful problem-solving skills to respond to customer needs
- Attention to detail when handling orders and cash
